You won’t be able to distinguish citrus variety just based on leaf shape. They’re pretty similar in appearance. If you have an acute sense of smell, you can crush the leave and make a guess at it: I can tell the diff between lemon and orange, but the navel and satsuma leaves smell quite alike. Scratch a fingernail over the fruits peel, and you’ll get a little better idea of what it is.

Or you could just ask the new neighbor......
