Dinner with a 7 year old in BR

I'm kinda out of the loop on BR dining since I moved away a few years back. Anything new in the last 2 or 3 years worth going to tonight that would also have something a 7 year old would like? I'm open to eating just about any type of food.
And a side note, what do parents with kids that age do for fun these days on a Friday night in BR? Any suggestions welcome.

If you are just looking for something to do afterwards take him to Main Event.
He's probably a little young for Top Golf. My daughter went to an 11 yr old's birthday party there and they loved it.

I haven't been to the Main Event yet but I was at the outdoor area of the mall last weekend with my daughter around 7-8 and it was fine
