I always thought Ed would be a great head coach for LSU if he truly ran the program like a CEO and trusted his assistants.

Ed isn’t a great offensive or defensive mind, but he is a great face of the program, he’s great with recruiting, he’s great with donors, he’s great with the media, and he’s great at inspiring his team.

Now that he has trust in his offense and defensive coordinator he can let them do their jobs, while he sticks to the things he’s best at.

Sometimes I wake up late in the morning & I don't have time to eat breakfast, but do I worry? NO! For I know as soon as I walk through those work doors, there sits a vending machine with Strawberry Pop-tarts, but sometime it's empty

I agree with that observation. But let me add another:
At the same time that there has been a sudden proliferation of posts on how great a HC Orgeron is, there has been a sudden proliferation of how bad a DC Aranda is.
This is odd for several reasons, including the fact that Aranda has a far better and more consistent body of work as a coach then Da Coach O.
Something's up...

Please note there is a plethora of LSU folks who work for the athletic office that post here.

That's what I suspect is at work.
If that is correct, it is an unhealthy sign for the program.

Orgeron had the courage and vision to actually go to the spread. Aranda has been lit up by Bama. By TAM. By UCF and now by Texas. So what is it. Aranda has been good not great for LSU. He has not delivered at a level of his compensation.

I do not want him to go anywhere. But I am weary of how great aranda is and how stupid or incompetent Orgeron is.

LSU has Held Bama below there season average the last 3 years. We were there lowest scoring game in 2016, second lowest scoring game in 2017 and 3rd lowest scoring game in 2018.

We were playing back up WRs at CB against UCF and he still onyl gave up 25 points if you count the field goal they scored when we gave them the ball in field goal position an they went 3 and out.

Say what you will about Texas and Texas A&m not great games, but they are more rare than the norm.

He is probably overpaid, but he is still a top 3 DC out there, and the best we would be able to get.

I don't care to get into a back and forth with you about responsibility for individual games, but the HC has some responsibility for every loss, does he not?
And I would suggest that the offense bears the burden of being shut out in the Bama game, the play calling in overtime in the A & M game (where we had some significant losses due to injury on defense and UCF.
As stated, Orgeron's body of work is not as impressive as Aranda's.
Aranda's pay scale was set by the market, as was Orgeron's.

facts carry no weight when talking to that poster.
he is still claiming lsu had more kickers than lbs when O took over after being told that that's not true everytime he posts it.
he is an o over lsu guy.
