I would put it in the "average" loudness category compared to SEC schools. Sort of like Miss St without the cowbells.

Ronnie Rantz and Jacob Hester were talking about it on air on Monday and I thought the same. The grade of DKR is very bad and an end zone is open. So the fans are setback pretty far from the field and the sound escapes. I had similar seats at DKR as I do in Tiger Stadium. It was visually easy to see that LSU's seats wrap the field much closer than most stadiums and the end zones hold the sound in.

The stands are actually much closer to the field now than they used to be. There was a track around the field for years. The south end expansion will help hold in a lot more sound, although it won't be completely enclosed.
