I support this thread 100%.

Both Jordan and Ricky (but more particularly Jordan) were not used in a capacity to maximize their strengths.

That is not their fault, at all. I can remember seeing both pretty regularly drummed on by fans, and as disheartening as it was to see it, those men only played their asses off and gave 100% on and off the field.

They have my respect forever.

It has made me much more mindful of what I say about players.

It’s become increasingly clear in subsequent years that Miles’ offensive scheme made it hard for any QB to thrive. Jordan wouldn’t have ever won a Heisman, but with a better scheme he might’ve been productive. Same goes for the list of QBs who followed him. Mett only succeeded bc he had NFL skill talent surrounding him, and it still took Mett three years in the system lol.
