British training for American retrievers
I've read and used a lot, but this one, to me, was groundbreaking in the way I viewed dog training in general. Great read.
Even if you choose another book to use, you really should read this. My best advice would be to read as much as you can and decide what works best for you and your dog. This book was a great insight to dog psychology in general.
