I don’t think anyone is seriously talking about taxing home equity. It’s nonsensical. These guys can prove me wrong but I think they’re posting fake news.

It’s really not a stretch with the direction the Dems are going. I can very easily see any member of the squad saying the following:
“Institutional racism led to whites stockpiling wealth in the form of property and 401k balances and we need to act now to repair that injustice to minorities. Tax home equity and 401ks and give it to the poor for justice.”
If you don’t think AOC would be all for that after all the other crazy crap she has spewed, your head is squarely in the sand.
