Welcome to all the LSU fans making the trip to Austin! I will be the first to admit, this tiger dropping site is hilarious, some very good posters (the majority). This is what is great about college football, two of the bluest of blue bloods facing off in a early non-conference game (hats off to A&M and Clemson as well). Contrary to what a lot of LSU fans are posting here, whoever ACTUALLY goes to Austin you will be accepted everywhere around the stadium and in tailgates. I currently live in San Antonio TX (yes Austin is too Liberal) and heading there early Saturday. I like the confidence all the fans here have, this should be a good one (sorry don't agree with the 30-40 blowout lol)!

In all honesty, can you point me to a decent Texas board? I like to see other teams’ perspectives. The Horns boards I’ve been to are terrible.

Meh. Just ignore those kind of posters. Our LSU fans with half a brain know this is going to be a war and will be nothing like a blowout.
I can't make it, but my friends who are in Austin seem to be having a damn good time. They are loving life.

I lived in Austin for about 7 years, graduated high school there, and my best friend in the world and best man at my wedding is a diehard Longhorn. The deal was he would get us tickets to this game if I got us tickets to next year’s. Can’t wait to be back and go with him to a Texas game I actually give two shits about.
I’ve always loved Austin and for the most part the Texas fans I’ve met over the years are no different from any other fan base, LSU included. They just love their team, some to an obnoxious degree.
Looking forward to a great game and hopefully a Tiger win over a good Texas team in a great environment.
