Yeah it is the length of a standard tub.

What about the width of the tub? Unless this Is an exceptionally small (narrow) walkin-in tub and/or your new house has exceptionally wide doorways that tub is not going to be easily removed from the house without cutting it into sections.

My wife has mobility issues and I had one put in last year - tub had to be put in the house by removing a 4 x 4 glass block window in the bathroom and replacing the window at a cost of $1K. Going down hallways and through doors wasn’t possible without structural renovation.

We bought a pretty nice tub, fairly good size, which was $4K, installation was $3K, window replacement $1K - total cost $8K.

I can tell you the jacuzzi tub it replaced, which was removed in one piece through the same window that was removed, had no value at all.

Thanks for the heads up. Tub was 2'8" ish wide when I measured the other day so not super wide. The guy has dementia so I don't think he has any idea how it got in there.
