i agree, but at the same time having an offense that can move the ball helps your defense tremendously whether you’re putting up points or not. last year i thought our defense balled out against bama, but simply couldn’t get off the field. had we been able to move the ball, and even score a couple times, bama wouldn’t have put up 29 and it would have been a close game. i don’t think we need an “elite” offense, but we certainly need a good one.
