So if they're being charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon...seems like those kids would've had legal ground to defend themselves.

Will plead down to misdermeaner with restitution, they always over charge and barter. Nothing done warranted deadly force and a sure civil suit that would have gone against the kids in the bass boats parents.
Now, me, i would have dragged a couple silver hooks and had some redneck justice dished out on them boys.
