first, Boomers have completely failed to address structural issues (SS, Medicare, other entitlements) and have actually made them much worse
So Millenials voted for Obama who gave them a brand new entitlment. Sorry but Millenials don't get to bitch about those problems and then vote overwhelming for a guy like Obama.

the collectivistic movement in the country today is led by Millennials.
millenials weren't even born in the 70s when the debt began to explode and were babies in the 80s when it really ramped up
millenials are not old enough to have any real political power. in a normal society they would just start entering major politics. i'm an old millenial at 36 and i just became eligible to run for President last year. who actually did run for president? 2, 70+ year olds.
even "young" upstarts in Congress like Rashida Tlaib are too old (at 43) to be Millenials
so this argument is bullshite

They are not being denied of anything. They obviously have less marginal value to companies than a boomer if that is what you are asserting.
when boomers are clogging up the pathways to upward mobility, this is nonsense. this doesn't even apply to me so it's not personal, if that's your angle. like with politics, you think the people who run the company are going to enact policies that hurt themselves and their friends/coworkers of decades?

How did boomers frick millennials ?
They didn't. They weren't born in 1932 when FDR was elected and weren't the major voting base in in 1964 when LBJ was elected. The people who did those things screwed us, the millenials and everyone else for generations to come.

about 1/3 of millennials couldn't even vote in 2008
also, one of the least reliable voting demos is young people LINK
so, again, this argument is bullshite

The millenials got fricked by the boomers because the boomers babued their candy asses all the way through age 25

Bro Omar is 37 and AOC is 29.

No, companies are worried about earning profits. Therefore if they retain a boomer it’s because he/she has more marginal value than the potential Millennial replacement worker.

while i agree, the boomers have, effectively, been in political power since the 80s and have failed to address these issues (note: they've made them worse)

second, Boomers are able to work longer than humans were able to properly, which has denied advancement for everyone below them
So, because they aren't lazy and want to work longer , that denies millennials advancement ?
I guess employers are willing to pay a higher salary to a boomer , rather than a lower salary to a millennial .
I wonder why ?
Millennials are asking for student loan forgiveness , those loans are through PRIVATE companies and backed by taxpayers..
Government (taxpayers) would be required to pay for those loans. How does that benefit other taxpayers ? Boomers , Gen X and millennials who didn't go to college would be forced to pay for those . It would only benefit the college grad and on a whole would FURTHER increase our debt.
Debt is one of your complaints about boomers.

Millennials: Prior generations have failed to address structural entitlement issues that have created untenable government debt.
Also millennials: Feel the Bern!!!!!

Name one generation in human history that gave up entitlements willingly.
EtA: had to change that. Upon further review the Boomers didn't make this country great. Their parents did, despite their poor electoral choices.

The baby boomers continue to screw this country. Millennials haven’t even had a chance to screw up yet. You think millennials voted and funded Obama? That’s laughable.

well i didn't reference them so that's irrelevant
i didn't say there were 0 millenials in Congress. they're rare and we're just hitting the age where we start to populate Congress (like Omar. AOC is an extreme outlier on multiple levels and you know this)

yes these mythical companies that don't have bureaucracies and people running them

-marginal
+perceived
and that perception is primed by all sorts of things (and the vast majority have nothing to do with objective efficiency analysis and you know this)

well yeah that's how it works
also you have to note that i responded to a person saying this was a normal cycle when it's never been seen before. due to advancement in our medical technology and the change in our economy, we've never been more able, as a society, to allow people to work this late into their lives

do you really need an explanation as to why this is happening?

If you want to succeed you will find a way, if you don't you will find an excuse.
Boomers have to work longer because Millennials won't leave home.
Are Millennials Trump Voters? Do they want to work?

Aside from electing Democrats, how have the Boomers screwed this country? By working their whole lives and expecting the government to keep its promises?
