Prosecuting political opponents and high level members of the IC is huge fricking deal. If you are going to take that shot, you better not miss. Furthermore, you have to be prepared to convince people who don't want to be convinced. And you have to be able to defend your case against a media that we all know is biased and dishonest.
Barr and company have to have everything air tight. Anything less and it could cost Trump a second term.

and /\ THIS /\ is the reason it has to be a perfectly assembled case with NO 'easy outs,'
Now if the MSM agenda was reversed - they could go to trial right now wife fabricated evidence and be successful -
