I understand that, it's just being friends with her I can see where we would be good together. It amazes me that she can't see it too.
I'm not saying I believe in love at first site, but I definitely felt more towards her after two dates than I have with almost any other woman. It just really took me by surprise because she seemed like she felt it as well. Then suddenly the bomb shell of "I just want to be friends".
It's never been easy for me to connect with women and get a woman interested in me so I get optimistic when it seems to click. I'm not a 9 or 10 guy who can go out and have women be all over him. That's what has made it hard.

Not great, some dates here and there. Two short term relationships in college. Nothing has ever gotten serious. I wasn't good at interacting with women in college. I'm better now but definitely still nothing like a player. I guess it was hard because she's one of the only women (there were a few others, some of them were already in relationships so obviously didn't pursue those) that I really felt a connection with.

Life will get a lot easier for you when you give up on understanding a women's motivation for something. It doesnt matter why she doesnt want to be with you. She doesnt want to be with you. It sounds harsh but you need to come to terms with that to move forward. Unless she has two pussies she isnt anything special. There are plenty of women out there.

If you want me to be completely honest about this I would love to do just that. But honestly I really don't know how. Growing up my dad was more incompetent with women than I am and I just never really had that wing man to show me the ropes. That's probably a big reason why I am in this position in the first place.
I think what's also frustrating is that I don't know what I did wrong. I thought I did all the right things and when I asked her about it she said "no you didn't do anything wrong, you're a great guy, I just didn't feel anything". Now of course that's being nice but obviously I did something wrong.

Im dealing with a similar thing and while I'm still not completely over it, I think you just have to move on, knowing that it's done. Distract yourself with hobbies and other stuff going on and keep looking for other fish. There is no point in worrying about could have been. Move on. I promise you there are other women out there.
