You’re mostly right. I love history. It’s an enormous aspect of my life. Studied it formally for 7 1/2 years. It’s also my career.
I have my interests and the Greeks and Romans aren’t it. Worse yet is the Egyptians. Yuck!
Am I ignorant of it? Absolutely.
Why? Because I’m not interested in it. I get by with the basics.
