Oh spare us the chosen team crap. The 2003/04 game should have been LSU v USC. Using the later formula that’s the matchup we would have gotten and there would have been zero controversy. They changed it because the overly complicated formula bit them on the arse. There is no mathematical formula that “proves” who the best team is.
