Interesting take. And it was Tom Herman as OC of Ohio State who beat Wisconsin 59-0 in '14 (with Aranda at DC). That said, it was more likely Cardale Jones' sandlot offense that killed Wisconsin (with one weeks practice after Barrett was injured), more than anything Herman did.

I just looked up this game summary. Wisky’s quarterback threw three interceptions and Ohio St. trotted our there a little known back by the name of Ezekiel Elliot. The previous two seasons (Aranda’s and Herman’s first two years at both schools) Ohio St. barely survived and were held in check relative to what people were used to seeing Ohio St. do.

I think, much like LSU vs Alabama, if Wisconsin had something even resembling an offense in those games, they’d have won at least one of em and maybe two of em. Aranda has been unlucky thus far in his career in the sense that he’s been wedded to bad offenses year in and year out so his defense is always on the field.

There’s only one coach that seemingly gives Aranda fits, and that’s creepy Dan Mullen.

Cardale Jones'

was pretty damn good at end of year. CUM's 3rd stringer after miller and JT were hurt, leads them to a natty.
