I liked it. Never saw the original, so can't compare. I'm not a horror fan, generally speaking, because the ones that I see usually stink. But Suspiria was certainly better than most. Swinton rocked as always. She owns her roles.
As an aside I'd like to say that I appreciate your well-rounded taste in movies, athens.
I believe it was you who turned me on to Aferim! a while back, one of the better movies I've seen in some years. Almost a horror movie unto itself, in a way. Anyhow, thanks!

The ending of Aferim was definitely a horror movie. That was horrifying to watch
But alas, there are movies I can’t even watch yet.
Critics love “Its hard to be a God”.
I watched the first 15 minutes and thought it was the most revolting horrific movie I’ve ever seen in anything mainstream:
Everyone has their own cinematic development that enables them to view movies in a different way.
I just think my cinematic development is very very different than most people
But alas, there are movies I can’t even watch yet.
