I think they should, and it has nothing to do with my thoughts on pitchers hitting or not.
I'm tired of Snitker taking out pitchers after 6 innings and 80 pitches simply to use a pinch hitter. If we had the DH, I think starting pitchers would go a little longer (I don't have the data to back up whether AL starters tend to go deeper into games, this is just a theory or observation) and lessen the need to use a bunch of bullpen arms that suck.
