Chipper ended up retiring just in time to finish with a career average/obp split of .303/.401. His slugging was still firmly over .500, but his last 4 years or so his average and obp were drastically lower and he would have likely finished outside of the .300/.400/.500 club had he played another year.

which is an incredible feat considering there are only 14 guys who have done this for their career (minimum of 2000 games played in the list that i saw). If you use a minimum of 5000 PAs, then the list jumps to 18 guys
