IF doesn't do anything special atleast physique wise, atleast not that we know of
It absolutely does - I feel almost cult like about it. The other night one of my fiancee's GFs asked her if I had gotten a peel. I'm under 200 lbs for the first time since college and my face looks younger and healthier (not just leaner). I have a ton more energy in every conceivable way. Mental, physical, sexual, stamina wise, discipline wise. I'm making the bed every morning for the first time in my life, killing it in the gym and at work and in the bedroom. Its changed my life or at least given me the desire to change my life.

Because you consumed less calories and lost fat. IF is a calorie intake manager. Nothing more.

Great, awesome it's working for you, but it's the caloric deficit that is causing the fat loss.
The mental energy yea that is a benefit of IF.
The autophagy, you get lost if that from the caloric deficit.
