Any of yall play Mark of the Ninja? I'm only 2 levels in, but it's brilliant

Remastered version is out for every machine, $20. Finally pulled the trigger and I'm so glad I did. Just a joy to play.
Check it out if you haven't. 2D stealth/puzzle game in a super cool setting. It's very highly reviewed and I'd imagine there's quite a bit of replayability

That looks pretty stylish. What would you compare it to? I haven't played too many 2D stealth games before.

I'm not too sure what I'd compare it to tbh, it's very unique. it's a stealth game, but it's also kinda like a puzzle game in the way you approach encounters. you can unlock item and equipment upgrades that open up new options for you. Example: in one of those gifs in OP, you can see where he throws a shuriken to disable a junction box and turn off the lasers. some paths have lasers that don't have an associated junction box, so you need smoke bombs so slip through.
Every level introduces something new to counter you. enemies will get upgrades of their own (I don't want to spoil) and force you to adapt. levels have multiple paths and can be tackled differently, especially when you revisit old levels with new gear or play through on NG+. it controls extremely well and, as you said, it's slick and stylish
For $20, I'd highly recommend it.

One of my favorite stealth games ever.
The game does a smart job of letting you know visually exactly when you and your actions can be seen or heard. It has a pretty good story too.
