Congratulations on the most lonely death.
Look I think the OP sounds like a massive douche as well...but the whole "I'll be lonely when I'm older if I don't have kids" rationale for having children is very flawed.
Go to any nursing home in the country. Ask the staff about how often family visit most of the residents that live there.
Death in itself is a lonely experience. Having children doesn't guarantee that you will be in a bed with all your family surrounded by you holding your hand as you pass.

Agreed and shame on children who don’t visit their parents in the nursing home!
My grandmother passed away in a nursing with my mom and her sister holding her hands and telling her to let go as they fought back tears. Death is hard but such a beautiful thing when like that. Having kids has taught me just how much my own parents have sacrificed for me and I vowed to never let my parents be lonely in old age.

Yeah it's a dumb take.
Plenty of reasons why having kids is a great experience. That reason is nowhere near that list.

Very true, though as someone childless I do worry a little about at least someone being there to make sure I make good decisions about my care and health. All the crap I saw my parents deal with in the last few years of my grandparents lives.
But I figure once my nieces and nephews are a bit older I’ll have a chat with them and explain that while uncle bruco isn’t rush, he isn’t poor either. So keep an eye on my old arse or that cash is going to the special Olympics or some other charity I like. Lol.
