Sounds like a troll but he's right you know. Not every local restaurant is some amazing dining experience. Most do suck. Just look at Kitchen Nightmares, those are all local restaurants with the moldy lettuce, spoiled fish, incompetent kitchens and filthy refrigerators.

The chains offer solid mediocrity. Maybe 10% of locals are better than chain. the others are either disgusting or serve up the same microwaved Sysco crap as the chains.
