Can any one of you explain how any specific policy or plan from any of the current democratic presidential candidates actually meets the definition of socialism?

even the socialist-like Dem presidential candidates acknowledge that those are socialist programs. I even left an explanation as to how - they are resources controlled by the state, funded by tax payers. Textbook socialism. I've often wondered the same thing myself. Many have come to our country fleeing tyranny, poverty, and injustice, so it would make sense for people who feel this country is tyrannical, poverty-stricken, and unjust to move away to a place more of their liking.
