Sorry, I don't live in BR....no results when I searched the obits. Only BC on the Internet was a 57 year old Maryland/NBA basketball star who died a few years back.

He was a poster here who passed away a few days ago due to cancer. Hate to see what he went through.

A devout pumper. We disagreed on a lot when it came to LSU, but his love for LSU was never in question. The guy was a diehard like the rest of us.

Was a good man who succumbed to a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was most cordial and spent considerable time on the Political forum, particularly the Q thread. Loved the Tigers like most of us who frequent this site, less the free for all SEC Rant.

Ben was a dedicated poster to the rant. He was super stubborn, argumentative, brash and outspoken, but he was as loyal and passionate about his Tigers as anyone else on this board. I mean, he spent his dying days arguing with haters and trying his best to be positive about the upcoming season. No matter how anyone felt about him, no one can take that away from him. I will miss him dearly and I hope he's up there waving an LSU flag right now while calling people like Ricky, Damone, lsu2006 and MadKing haters right now.

Patriot

Much more known on the poli than the nega/posi wars on rant.

Ben Coleman stood up for Coach Orgeron against some pretty abusive posters. Ben believed in Coach O, and after a #6 Final AP finish (and a '19 season shaping up to possibly be even better) it kinda looks like Ben knew what the hell he was talking about.

RIP, Buddy.

That's Ben in a nutshell.

Perceived "haters." Just because some of us hold this coaching staff to the same standards as the previous coaching staffs does not make us haters.

We all want LSU to win and win big the same way Ben did and everyone else.

I believe you see this the same way I do Lunatik.

I was trying to look at it from Ben's point of view, earl.
