What she did was moronic...but it shows the current state of affairs when this is all over the news and gangs of thugs descending on innocents is barely mentioned. Narratives before facts.

It doesn't seem like a big deal to them.

Sure, shouldn’t have used it. But I’ll start getting outraged when the black community starts calling other blacks out for using it. Until then, idgaf about the fake outrage. Either the word is hate or not, doesn’t matter the color of the persons skin saying it. The fact that they say abs believe it’s acceptable for them and not white people to say it is Racism in itself. Might as well say this is our water fountain to drink from and you don’t have one.
And to future down voters, please by all means correct what I said and prove it isn’t racist of them. I’ll wait!

I bet white leftists are more upset about this than blacks.

Bingo!!!
I still do not get the deal with that word. African Americans (not the upstanding ones) use it constantly against each other, yet a European American does it and all hell breaks loose.
Either the word is bad for everyone or ok for everyone to use.
I personally use race neutral words like arse Hole and Bitch though.

What a stupid bitch

"Yes, I do, that's why I said it. I would say it again to them,” Goodman responded
Exactly. When I'm trying to piss you off I'm probably going to pick the thing most likely to piss you off
This is pretty much universal among humans and yet every time one of these incidents happens everybody acts like it's not

Ilhan Omar just demonized every white man in America. What should be done to her?

No, that's not how it works. You see, the word's taboo is intended to limit White expression. It has almost nothing to do with blacks.

Maybe she's just being honest, and no, calling someone a mean name shouldn't result in national outrage. But virtue signal noted.

This is kind of like the GnR song, "One in a Million." The song is told from the POV of a fictionalized version of Axl (himself not paragon of virtuous behavior, good decision making or anything like good taste) and various culture shock he experienced upon moving from Indiana to L.A.
In particular, he uses the N-word. He reinforced, "I was pissed off about some black people that were trying to rob me. I wanted to insult those particular black people."
Seems like that's what this lady did. If she had made up a word, like "Stupid Cacklebrains", I think this would be a non-story.
But, maybe the races would have still made it a story. Sad.

Like I said this goes to the problem of people acting like all situations are equal.
Hell people don't even really know me personally and yet there have been dozens of occasions when someone is mad at me on this board where they have made negative references to my height
Why? Because it's easy and they think it will work because they assume a short person don't like to be insulted for his height
If a black person is being an a****** and someone wants to call them out for it there's a perfectly decent chance that the obvious insult available will be used
So I point that out to also point out that short jokes don't work on me. You want to know why? Simple. Because I don't give them the power. Usually my reaction to someone going there is to chuckle because it's very rare that whatever they said is new to me.
It ain't like I woke up yesterday looked in the mirror and just noticed I was short.
An insult any insult only has the power that the target gives it.
Offense is a choice. It is literally impossible to offend someone. And it's impossible to be offended.

What's funny about the meme you are running here is that it's completely false. That's why her full interview will have minimal propagation. She is just saying what average people think and mumble under their breath (stone sober) when they come into contact with vibrant diversity. The spell would be broken if even a tiny fraction of common thought were made public.
