Worth repeating. It was big to win 2/3 and absolutely should have been a sweep. I don't think Oakland is a legit contender but I didn't think they were all that great last year either and they were on our arse until the very end. So it's big to take the series from them.

I'm pretty critical at times (moreso in private than on this board, where I'm still a newbie). I don't think the Astros offense is perfect (though I think it's pretty good when everyone is healthy). They need two starting pitchers and at least one reliever. They should have swept the series, and Hinch is baffling at times. So I get the angst.
But, in my mind, today is not the day to project into October or be overly critical about this team's flaws. Today is about appreciating winning a big series against your nearest division challenger that is fighting just to get into the postseason.
