Had one as a kid growing up. Me and my brother were 7 and 4, when we first go her. She was a rescue that had been abused and left in a small chain link cage. And she probably was the most gentle protective dog we ever had. We used to ride on her back in the backyard and during the summer when bouncing from friends house to friends house in the neighborhood she would never leave me and my brother’s side. Fantastic dog despite her upbringing.
Our next dog will be a Doberman and we plan to have kids in the next few years.
