I just recently got into bourbon this year. So far, Blantons is my favorite and the go to. Luckily I live close to a liquor store that gets a batch in regularly and I’m on a list to get a bottle whenever they get some, as I know it can be really hard for some to get ahold of.

But I want to also keep trying good stuff, and I’m a newb so I don’t really know where to start. So OT, what are your favorites that I should try?

This thread would be better not on that board. They'll shite on everything you ever drank and enjoyed.

Weller Special Reserve

In CO today and it was $80 for 1.5L bottle. They had about 8 bottles in stock

Wellers is way cheaper in Louisiana. $20 for a 750mL and $33 for 1.5L on the Northshore.

Henry McKenna if you can find it. Inexpensive and great.

Buffalo Trace is pretty good for an inexpensive bottle.

Chattanooga whiskey makes a single malt experimental (only a few bottles left) that is one of the best I’ve ever tasted under $100.

Clyde Mays is ok.

Irons One out of Huntsville has bourbon for $40 and it’s pretty fricking amazing if you can ever pick any up before he sells out. I bought 3 bottles the last time he had some.....but you pretty much have to go there and pick it up.
