With a SOB story advertisement about a Lesbian couple whose child wasn't taken as a patient by a pediatrician funded by the Gill foundation.

If private practice, can do what they want, unless an emergency

Do I need to bump my thread about the most self important and attention whoring group of humanity in human history?

They've launched a TV ad with the story I mentioned in the OP and website called beyond I do presumably to push the equality act and eliminate the right of people who disagree with their life choices from participating in them.

What was the reason because if it's because they're gay then that's really fricking stupid. But then again there's probably more to the story

Just like all movements today... gays, trans, minorities, women equal pay
The media only covers it because it generates ratings, both from agreeing libs or angered ultra conservatives.

Basic discrimination protection for same sex attracted people with gay lifestyles in public places, absolutely.
Religious settings should be able to choose the behaviors they allow as their religion teaches to discern.
Bakeries and similar places should not discriminate against people but should be able to choose events they want to participate in.
I do not understand the logic behind trying to explicitly ban gay reversal therapy. Gay promoters want to suppress any books or programs that would give people an option to pursue a different lifestyle choice if they have same sex attraction.
So effectively the Gay agenda is to suppress choice. They will say that it is only for minors but on the other hand say that someone can be transgender and choose a different gender for themselves even as a minor. So to them you can change your gender and sex and that is celebrated but if you want to change your orienation (to straight) you are banned from doing so. (but straight to gay is celebrated obviously).
It is all inconsistent and reeks of pushing an agenda.
I have no ill will against gay people. I have close relatives and friends who are that way. I still believe in traditional views regarding sin and homosexual activity. At the end of the day it is between the person and Jesus. I sin often enough that I don't feel I am any better. The only difference is I don't take pride in sins. Obviously to many there is no such thing as a sin or they don't believe it is sinful.
Overall the pride movement is just eerily similar to unforgivable biblical sin of taking pride in yourself over God. It also is eerily similar to the effects of porn addiction. It keeps burning out of control and escalates into breaking more and more boundaries.
It is crazy to me that nobody bats an eye anymore at a whole month of pride and the amount of involvement from corporations.
As a kid from the 80s this culture is vastly different from my childhood.

The sad part is that in doing so you cause ugly blowback as people in general tend to not handle change that well. Watch what happens with LGBT rights real soon.
People want reform. They do not want their way of life uprooted in 5 years.

You didn't have MTV? This crap has been going on a long time, including the 80s.

Because it's incredibly fricked up.

Being gay isn't a choice though.

You can't say something asinine like that and then also say gay conversion is fine. Also since did gays become a collective? They don't all follow one political view point the fact that there are gay Trump voters kind of proves that

change your orienation
That's not how that works

If being gay isn't a choice, then why do they have to recruit and lobby?

Ahh I was following you up until this point.
The majority of gays (note I said majority) just want to be accepted by society without a stigma attached.
I don't blame them for reasonable pride stuff. If they hadn't taken a stand the past 20 years or so, they'd still be in unhappy marriages and forced to live a closeted lifestyle.

stop with this nonsense
This kind of talk is what's been holding Republicans back for decades.
The Right would dominate if they'd let consenting adults live in peace and generally stay out of other's private lives.

"Conservatives would win if they would just be more like libz."
"the problem is optics, friend. Don't actually care about outcomes, just talk about principles and don't do anything that might scare away muh libz".

It isn't, I'm sure people aren't risking persecution or even death in some countries over something that's a "choice".
Also if being gay is a choice then that means being straight is as well. Sounds more like we have some bisexuals on this board that are afraid to admit it
