Thats what I thought, It stayed at the 16 mark for a while after it peaked too...

Ironically I was curiously reading the 2016 flood thread last night since I recently moved into Fairhill/Springlake. misterC and supernovasky analyzed it with good maps showing where the water diverted. LINK

Today's news makes me very nervous.

Thanks for the info and I would appreciate any info/insight you may have through the next week. Gotta survive flash flooding this weekend and then backwater river flooding through Wed or Thursday it appears.

I think my street is around 18' elevation if I remember correctly, and I've got about a 2-3 foot rise to get up to my front door threshold.

Fingers crossed this system moves a little faster than expected.
