And you couldn’t understand that people like the convenient and purposeful stopping points of episodes

What would be the benefit of just releasing it as an 8 hour show?

And sure you can pause a movie, but I’m guessing most people don’t start one knowing theyre gonna pause it an hour in and continue it the next night. If I wanna watch a movie that’s 2 and half hours, I’ll watch it when I have 2 and a half hours to do so

That’s exactly what people do now. They just feel better about it because of a credits sequence.
