Glow came out In June 2017 and June 2018.
Mindhunters was renewed before it was released
On my block was released on March 2018 and March 2019
So again is it the process or that Netflix lets shows take the time they want?
Also most network shows aren’t renewed 4 episodes in (unless there is a huge success) so how does a 28 viewing metric delay these shows anymore than network tv?
If you said Netflix wants to space them out or gives shows more time I would Probably u defat and and agree.

because Netflix does not open the writer's room until they know if the show will be picked up. Network doesn't operate like that, just like the whole script writing process. (all scripts vs writing while shooting)

it's not an argument. go to the mindhunter thread on this forum. how did I know the exact release date well before it was announced...

Different shows have different costs and creative processes. Stranger Things is to Netflix what Game of Thrones was to HBO. It’s the biggest product you have, so you give the production staff the time and resources they need to make it a success (save the GOT jokes).
Now those cheaper shows that don’t really require much in the way of creativity - like The Ranch and other sitcoms - they can pump those out every 12 months with no problem.
