I mean is that difference than a lot of network shows? New shows flop all the time.
AP Bio was brilliant and got canceled mid season 2.
Bad shows aren’t going to make it no matter what the format.

you are misunderstanding viewership and production.
A licensed show will have a faster pick up because Netflix isn't the one deciding to put up money for the next season.
When Netflix owns the show, it has a longer gap.
