This is one more thing to point the finger at Johnny Jones. People criticize that season on Simmons all the time, but I don't understand when people will realize who was the real problem. We had an extremely talented team, he had 0 idea how to utilize everyone, though.

Also, the next biggest problem is that you couldn't trust Quarterman with the ball, because he got into a "Me vs Everyone" mentality and you couldn't play Gray, Simmons, and TQ together. Simmons and Gray actually played very well together because Josh Gray understood who the Alpha was. If TQ had the same mindset that Gray had, that team is easily in the 2nd weekend of the tourney. However, our coach was incapable of making him understand that.
