According to the linked Forbes article, Bzdelik is a Pelican.
ETA: I'm not seeing any other stories confirming Bzdelik is a member of the staff but Forbes isn't exactly yung Ayre or Mr Perfect.

That's not what I read. They said he's Pelican per Marc Stein's tweet which just said we made an offer and he's weighing his options.
