You went to a local club and not a bar?

Then you add extra detail at the end "to unwind a little bit from a long day at work".

People will accuse me of telling stories and adding too much detail. I just go further into the story than I should, I don't add extra details. People add extra details to try to make it believable. I will read the rest and give another assessment if I have one.
