It was always going to be either LA or Boston (if Kyrie weren’t such a weirdo they likely get him) with a slim outside chance of some random team like the Clippers. AD wanting LA was the best thing to ever happen to New Orleans fans. It got us Zion, a far more competent front office than the Lakers, and LA gave up the most for a star player in league history. I hated the fit of Ingram next to Zion, still do. Unless they land a big that can stretch the floor we have the worst spacing in the league. Lonzo I do feel can be a great fit if he can stay healthy. The assortment of picks is what I like about the trade. People assume these will be late 20s even though they are years from now, but they can be used in deals to land another star with Zion if they wish to do so. They’ll be in the trade discussion for any struggling team with a star on the way out and looking to get assets. That’s what makes it an appealing deal
