ESPN

The Big East officially announced UConn's return to the Big East today. However, It doesn't say what year they will begin play in the Big East. It also still doesn't say what the UConn football program will officially do. In any case, this is a great move by UConn and the Big East. UConn just belongs in the Big East.

UConn Men’s basketball is a shell of its former self, maybe going back to the Big East will help them get back to where they used to be

(It’s been better since the split than in the 10 years prior)

Surprised if they don’t stay in AAC, who already has a non-football member (Wichita State) and a football-only member (Navy).

Nobody jumps out as particularly more appealing than UConn should AAC want to replace them.

I want the early 2000s big east back. That was actually a very good conference. Miami, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and then other schools that have been somewhat good in periods of their history. Basically the 2000s imo was college footballs Golden Age. Exploded in popularity and went from regional to national, but hadn’t been so corrupted yet as to lose so much of its charm that it does every year seemingly now.

100% will not happen. UConn is awful and helps in no way.
