Mitsubishi Motors to relocate US headquarters to Franklin TN

Mitsubishi Motors will invest $18.25 million to move U.S. headquarters to Williamson County. The move will strengthen the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance and bring around 200 jobs to the area. Since 1988, Mitsubishi Motors North America has been rooted in California. All departments will be relocating, including sales, marketing, IT, human resources, communications, parts and services, product planning, dealer operations, finance and legal.

California is losing a lot of their non tech large companies.

This should a concern moving forward. With more people moving out of New York and California, they may be looking for something better economically, but they are taking their blue-state mentality with them.

I'm sure the infrastructure and schools for the employee's kids was tough to turn down

I live just outside of Franklin. Fantastic. Traffic already is a disaster here
