I practice a lot on carpet in my room chipping balls from one side to the other. If you can chip off flat carpet, you can do it on grass pretty easily. Chipping and sand shots are the best part of my game now.

I will say that getting the right wedge for your swing helps a lot too. I went titleist and got a vokey wedge that was more suited to my swing.

I chip in my hallway all the damn time. It's mental for me.

I am going to switch to using bounce more. I think that will take my mind out of the equation a good bit.

My clubs are getting regripped today, so I'm pumped to go practice tonight after work.

ETA:

Z-grip, full cord. It is weird how excited I am to finally switch out the old, worn down basic Lamkins. I almost threw a couple clubs with sweaty hands last weekend

I can pinch the ball off of hotel room carpet and make it spin right or left, high or low.

On the course I turn into penis hands
