And those higher salaries are generally covered with different charges. You go to the hospital, you generally get separate billing for the hospital stay (the bed/room charges), durable goods charges, procedure charges, lab charges, drug charges, and physician charges.

So your idea of "markup is higher" for the durable goods is bull crap. Durable Goods billing does not cover any charges for the daily operations of a hospital.

Our main hospital's power bill is $260K PER MONTH.

Water, $50K

Gas, $75K

Hell, is costs $300K a year just to keep the damn grass cut.

Do you see any of those charges on a hospital bill?

Use some common sense folks.
