Almost no one in Bama speaks like that. Her accent is straight outta Johnson City, TN, Eastern KY, or the WV/NC mountains.

Uhhh, I went to Auburn dude

A shite ton of Alabamians, guys included, speak like that.

Where I was raised in Bama we have a slow drawl like Matthew McConaughey (who is from MS). We don't sound like the Clampets (though it ebbs and flows depending on the person).

There IS a difference in the various southern accents. Auburn's location means the (natives) down there sound like Georgians. Pat Dye (AU HC in 80's) sounds very old Georgian because he is. His accent is sorta representative of people in those areas (Georgia, south Alabama) in those days. Someone like Dye who has a very strong accent, sounds NOTHING like the hillbilly this gal is. She sounds like she's a daughter of a WV coal miner who lives in a shack on a hill. (Sorta like Loretta Lynn). I mean she sounds like she's never heard of indoor plumbing.

Take Malzahn, AU's current coach. He is from Arky and sounds nothing like this gal (even though Malzahn talks like a redneck in his own right). I would say Gus sounds more like Alabama rednecks than the girl.

Just my 2 cents. Accents and dialects have always fascinated me.
