i usually speak up when people are playing loud, inappropriate music in inappropriate places. i was on a train in france and a bunch of riff raff were playing loud music, so i politely asked them to turn it off until their next stop. they took offense and threatened me, so i pulled up my shirt to reveal my knife and invited them to get off at the next stop and talk it out. they left the car and people actually smiled and thanked me for speaking up.

i got off at the next stop and waited for them, but turned around and ignored me, guess they had other business to attend to.
