I had an employee who didn't show up for work one night. When I called him, he told me he started jury duty that morning and forgot to tell me about it. I wanted to slap the living frick out of him, right there over the phone. How do you forget something like jury duty?

I’ve only been summoned once, but usually they send it to you months in advance and you have more important things going on
