I guess celebrations don’t bother me, win or lose. It didn’t bother me, unlike many other Buckeye fans, when Baker planted the flag at midfield in the Shoe. And I didn’t pretend, like other Cleveland fans, that the Decision TV Special was the reason to get upset, rather than losing one of the greatest basketball players of all time. I think it’s stupid when people get upset over things like bat flips after a home run in baseball.

So while I would probably find the soccer celebrations corny, they probably wouldn’t bother me, and to the extent that they would, it wouldn’t much matter whether it was the goal 1 or goal 13.
