When you ask the defense to win every game and you’re not undefeated it’s easy to point fingers at the defense.

The defense allows 28-31 against an SEC team and it's a horrific performance

the defense gets blamed for Florida when they gave up 6 second half points
they get blamed for a&m when they handed the offense the game on a silver platter
here are the last 4 possessions of offense and defense before the game tying td.....
Defense
1. punt- win by the defense 3 and out
2. defensive td - win by the def
3. punt- win by the def 3 and out
4. forced turnover on downs
Offense
1. punt- loss by the offense 5 plays
2. punt- loss by the offense 3 and out
3.td- win by the offense
4. punt loss by the offense 3 and out
people expect the defense to be perfect so that the offense can be garbage
