1st off why take a deal if you did nothing wrong. i know many people in prison and everyone of them that took a deal did something wrong even if they didn't want to admit it first.

2nd chemical castration just reduces the urges to want to have sex, person could still have sex but the drive isnt there. Also, can be reversed if needed in future.

3rd this is the same as ankle monitors while it might slow down crime it wont prevent it if someone is willing and wanting to commit a crime, just a false sense of security. I never understood the sex offender registry laws as that is all they do is provide a false sense of security and offer no real protection.
