all of those coaches can stay exactly where they are and be the all time best coach that particular university has ever seen and not have to deal with an ounce of the bullshite he would have to here. you think coaches dont pay attention to whats going on? you think they would just jump at an opportunity to come here knowing no matter what it'll never be enough? i get that it's lsu and everyone things it's the greatest place on earth but thats part of the delusion of the fanbase and exactly why most fans cant be happy with anything.

This is a good list of coaches.

If I thought there was someone else who, even if not as accomplished, would be expected to to better than CPM going forward, then I'm all in.

Since Corbin, Sully, and DVH are in the SEC they're easily compared to CPM. And since DVH is in our division (play 'em every year) and he's been at Arky longer than CPM, let's compare:

13 seasons ('07 to '19):
CPM 33 wins to 15 losses
11 series wins (we have 2 sweeps, DVH 1)
6-1 in the SECT
2-0 in the CWS

CPM has taken us there 5X (and 1X w/ ND)
DVH has taken Arky to the CWS 6X (pretty good IMO)

I would love to see the head-to-head #s w/ Corbin and Sully if someone wants to crunch them. But I'd remove DVH from the list. CPM has dominated him.
